AI Furniture 3D Model Generator Free, in your browser

Describe a table, a chair, shelving or a cabinet with its sizes and finishes, and the AI builds it at real size. Refine the legs, the top or the drawers by chat, then export for SketchUp, Revit, Archicad, renders or AR.

Free. Use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key.

Also from Innerscene: Circadian Lab, a free lighting calculator for room illuminance, melanopic EML, and glare.

Watch how it works

How it works

  1. 1. Describe it or add a photoType what you want in plain words, with sizes if you know them, or add a photo as a reference. Describe an object or a person.
  2. 2. The AI builds and checks itThe AI writes an OpenSCAD program for an object, or sets up the character generator for a person. It looks at six rendered views of the result and fixes what is wrong, up to five builds per message.
  3. 3. Refine and exportThe model opens in the viewer at real size. Ask for changes in the chat, move the sliders, then download it or pick a format from the Export menu.

Why make it with AI here

  • Interior designers can model custom joinery or a client's existing piece in minutes.
  • Dimensions become sliders, so a 1600 mm table becomes 1800 mm without a new prompt.
  • One model exports to SKP for SketchUp, IFC for BIM and GLB for AR and the web.

Prompts to try

Click one to open it in the AI panel, then change the sizes to suit.

Exporting furniture

  1. Export GLB for renders, web pages or Android AR, and USDZ for iPhone AR.
  2. Export SketchUp 2017+ (.skp) for SketchUp and open it with File > Open.
  3. Export IFC4 for Revit or Archicad.

Colours and materials such as walnut or brushed steel come through as flat colours. Wood grain and fabric textures are not created.

Best export formats: GLB, SketchUp (.skp), IFC

Good to know

Soft furniture like plump cushions and draped throws comes out boxier than in real life. Exact copies of branded designer pieces are not the goal.

Cost and privacy

You use your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. It is stored only in your browser and sent only to that provider, which bills you directly: a model typically costs $0.05 to $0.30 at Standard quality and up to about $1 at Detailed, and Innerscene charges nothing. Your key and prompts are not sent to Innerscene; we record anonymous usage statistics such as the steps used, the model chosen, token counts, a cost estimate and whether a model was made.

Questions

▶Can AI design furniture in 3D?
Yes. Describe the piece with sizes and finishes, and the AI builds a model you can refine and export.
▶Can I make furniture for Revit?
Yes. Export IFC to link it, or SAT to import it into a furniture family.
▶Can I add a piece to the Free Parts Library?
Yes. You can submit AI-made models to the library, where they are reviewed before publishing.
▶Can I print a scale model?
Yes. Ask the AI to scale it, for example to 1:20, and export STL.
