Robotic welding cell with positioner, safety fencing and light curtain. Overall 5075 x 4095 x 2548 mm (X width x Y depth x Z height): robotic arc welding cell: a six-axis arc welding robot (12 kg payload class; its link lengths give a 1.44 m reach to the wrist centre) on a 500 mm steel riser (white arm with graphite joint covers, hollow forearm, collision sensor and swan-neck MIG torch, wire feeder on the upper arm and a cable dress pack), welding a steel frame clamped on a fixture between the faceplates of a single-axis headstock / tailstock positioner whose axis is 950 mm above the floor (fixture turned 20 degrees toward the robot; one crossmember fully welded, the middle one being welded, the last one tacked). The safety fence of 60 x 60 mm yellow posts, 2200 mm high to the top of the tube under a black cap, runs on a 4.94 x 3.34 m line (post centres): panels with light grey arc-guard sheets below a mid rail at 1250 mm and 40 mm welded wire mesh above it, an interlocked access door on the right (+X) side, and a 2.14 m operator opening at the front (-Y) guarded by a safety light curtain (columns from 300 to 1850 mm above the floor) under a header beam, with an operator station (start, stop, reset, key selector, emergency stop) and a signal tower whose top is the overall height. A drum of welding wire with a conduit to the feeder and a torch cleaning station stand inside the fence; the robot controller with its teach pendant and the welding power source on a water cooler stand outside the back fence, with their cables in a floor duct to the riser. The post base plates and the door interlock switch set the width (5075 mm in X) and the operator station at the front and the cabinets behind the back fence the depth (4095 mm in Y); the signal tower top is 2548 mm above the floor.
