Description
Gridfinity-compatible 1 x 1 open bin, modeled from published dimensions. Overall 41.5 x 41.5 x 21 mm. Key dimensions: grid pitch 42 mm; bin nominal height 21 mm; bin foot top width 41.5 mm; base height 7 mm; base socket radial clearance 0.3 mm; bin wall 1.6 mm; stacking lip false. Original solid CAD modeled from scratch. Closed meshes and digital clearances are checked; physical printing and load/flow performance have not been tested. Use millimeter units for STL. Original CAD implementing the documented 42 mm Gridfinity grid and stepped 4.75 mm foot. Credit for the Gridfinity system: Zack Freedman; dimension references are community-maintained drawings. Bins have plain open rims without stacking lips or magnet pockets. Compatibility here is with the baseplate foot interface; stack locking and magnetic retention are not included. Print components separately with feet/base bottoms on the bed. Watertight STL mesh in millimeters, ready to slice; printed performance is untested. Export to other formats from the viewer. Nominal dimensions for layout, fit checks and visualization; they do not establish a manufacturing tolerance class, load rating or standards certification.
