Description
Young oil palm tree with first fruit bunches. Overall 5737 x 5671 x 2667 mm (X width x Y depth x Z height): Young oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) about three years after field planting: no clear trunk yet, a broad stem bulb clothed in frond bases (boots up to 520 mm above the floor) on a cone of adventitious roots; a rosette of 36 arching pinnate fronds (spiny petioles, leaflets inserted at two angles on each side of the rachis, the oldest fronds yellowing and resting on the ground), 4 of them, which would pass through a fruit bunch, pruned at the trunk as harvesters prune round a ripening bunch, so 32 fronds are live, the longest 2.85 m along the rachis; two unopened spear leaves in the centre and four first small fruit bunches (two ripe, one unripe and one ripening) sitting in the frond axils near the ground. The arching fronds set the crown spread (5737 mm in X, 5671 mm in Y) and the tips of the upright young fronds the height (2667 mm above the floor); a palm of this age is lower and broader than the manifest's nominal 4.5 m cube. Original unbranded model. Overall 5.7 x 5.7 x 2.7 m. Nominal size: 5736.78 x 5670.51 x 2667.24 mm overall. glTF binary (GLB) mesh with materials, modeled in meters at real-world scale. Export to other formats from the viewer. Nominal dimensions for layout, fit checks and visualization; they do not establish a manufacturing tolerance class, load rating or standards certification. Original Innerscene model, released CC0.
