Automotive open differential: cast-iron split carrier with a flange carrying a 41-tooth ring gear (about 190 mm across, module 4.5) held by ten bolts, open windows showing two 10-tooth straight-bevel spider gears on a steel cross pin meshing with two 16-tooth side gears (module 5, common cone apex), and splined axle stubs out of both bearing journals.
