Description
Module 2, 40-tooth involute spur gear, modeled from published dimensions. Overall 84 x 84 x 18 mm. Key dimensions: module 2 mm; teeth 40; pressure angle deg 20; pitch diameter 80 mm; base diameter 75.2 mm; tip diameter 84 mm; root diameter 75 mm; bore 12 mm; face width 12 mm; hub height 6 mm; hub diameter 24 mm; pitch tooth thickness 3.1 mm. Original library dimensions; standard unshifted involute equations follow KHK Table 4.1. The involute flanks are spline-fitted from 33 analytic samples each; tip and root lands are circular arcs. Each tooth is thinned by 0.04 times module at the pitch circle. Radial extensions below the base circle have sharp root transitions rather than a generated cutter trochoid. Hub and bore are original choices; no gear accuracy class, strength or manufacturing fit is certified. Exact solid STEP geometry in millimeters, opens in any CAD system. Export to STL, OBJ, GLB and other formats from the viewer.
