Description
Mature oil palm tree with fruit bunches. Overall 10763 x 10587 x 11447 mm (X width x Y depth x Z height): Mature plantation oil palm (Elaeis guineensis): a smooth, scarred lower trunk on a cone of adventitious roots, persistent cut frond bases (boots) in spirals from 2550 to 7138 mm above the floor with small epiphytic ferns among them; a crown of 44 arching pinnate fronds (spiny petioles, leaflets in two ranks per side, yellowing lower fronds), 5 of them, which would pass through a fruit bunch, pruned at the trunk as harvesters prune round a ripening bunch, so 39 fronds are live, the longest 5.33 m along the rachis; two spear leaves in the centre, four fruit bunches (two ripe, one ripening and one unripe) and a spent male inflorescence in the frond axils; the youngest frond leaves the trunk 8272 mm above the floor. The arching fronds set the crown spread (10763 mm in X, 10587 mm in Y; wider than the manifest's nominal 8 m because the fronds are up to 5.33 m long) and the tips of the upright young fronds the height (11447 mm above the floor). Original unbranded model. Overall 10.8 x 10.6 x 11.4 m. Nominal size: 10763.40 x 10586.71 x 11446.98 mm overall. glTF binary (GLB) mesh with materials, modeled in meters at real-world scale.
