Description
Forest floor patch: a temperate forest floor patch on one 12 x 12 m kit module, 12.00 x 12.00 x 1.04 m overall (measured, X x Y x Z). All four edges are at Z = 0 (largest measured deviation under 1 mm) and the texture and micro-relief repeat every 12 m, so copies tile in both directions; the ground lies between -0.174 m and +0.193 m. A mossy fallen log about 4.6 m long (top +0.37 m), 5 half-buried stones and fern clumps (alpha cards) sit inside the module; painted layers of fallen leaves, conifer needles, twigs and moss cushions; litter and soil base to -0.30 m.
