Beach with waves strip: a sandy beach strip on a 24 x 48 m footprint, 24.00 x 48.00 x 4.47 m overall (measured, X x Y x Z), facing south. The land edge (north) is at Z = 0 (largest measured deviation under 1 mm); dry back-shore sand with marram tufts and a berm gives way to a beach face of about 1:12 down to the sea at -1.00 m, and the bed continues under water to the south edge. Waves come in from the south; the breaking crest stands 0.42 m above the sea level (waves break near 0.78 of the water depth), followed by a foamy bore and a thin swash front; the sea is a transmissive surface with alpha-blended foam. The east and west edges carry the same section (measured difference 0.0 mm) and the sand, waves and foam repeat every 24 m, so strips chain along the shore; sand base to -2.80 m.
