Description

Sand dune: a barchan (crescent) dune on a 120 x 120 m footprint, 120.00 x 120.00 x 13.10 m overall (measured, X x Y x Z). The brink stands 12.1 m above the sand sheet; the slip face, facing south-west (wind from the north-east), stands at about 34 degrees, near the angle of repose of dry sand (about 34 degrees), the windward slope has a median of 16 degrees, and the horns trail downwind about 130 m apart (roughly ten times the height, as on real barchans). Two small satellite barchans lie to the north-west and south-east. The sand sheet meets the footprint edge at Z = 0 on all four sides (largest measured deviation under 1 mm); sand base to -1.0 m. Painted wind ripples, bleached crests, grain-flow tongues on the slip face and darker interdune lag. Original unbranded model. Overall 120 x 120 x 13.1 m. Nominal size: 120000.00 x 120000.00 x 13095.77 mm overall. glTF binary (GLB) mesh with materials, modeled in meters at real-world scale. Export to other formats from the viewer. Nominal dimensions for layout, fit checks and visualization; they do not establish a manufacturing tolerance class, load rating or standards certification. Original Innerscene model, released CC0.
