Summary

This study examines foveal retinal ganglion cell physiology in macaques using advanced optical imaging, contributing to understanding of retinal microstructure in vivo. While primarily a basic science study, findings have implications for non-invasive retinal diagnostics and monitoring of retinal health in clinical settings.
