Abstract

Summary

This study examines how the ventral lateral geniculate nucleus (vLGN) modulates visuospatial processing through GABAergic projections to the superior colliculus, shedding light on subcortical visual pathways. While primarily basic neuroscience, understanding these circuits is relevant to how non-image-forming light signals are processed and may inform our knowledge of how lighting conditions influence visual attention and reflexive responses.
