Abstract

Summary

This RCT protocol compares the efficacy of SAD-tailored cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT-SAD) versus light therapy for winter seasonal affective disorder, while also elucidating the neurobiological and psychological mediators of treatment response. Findings from this trial could help clinicians select between or combine light therapy and CBT-SAD based on patient-specific treatment targets.
