Abstract

Summary

This study used high-density CMOS micro-electrode arrays with over 4000 electrodes to investigate how sinusoidal electrical stimulation affects retinal circuitry in rodents, varying both frequency and amplitude. Findings may inform the design of retinal prosthetics and deepen understanding of how the retina processes periodic stimulation relevant to flicker and dynamic lighting conditions.
