This study examines the refractive state of a population in Catalonia/Spain while providing an overview of intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs) and their transmission role in circadian rhythm regulation. Understanding ipRGC function is relevant for lighting designers seeking to optimize circadian entrainment through appropriate spectral and intensity choices.
