How to convert EPS to HTML

Open your .eps file

Click Export in the toolbar, then HTML (.html).

What survives the conversion
A file conversion is a translation, and formats do not carry the same things. Here is exactly what moves from EPS into HTML, and what does not.

What the HTML writer emits: A single .html file holding the data and everything needed to show it. A model or point cloud is embedded as a base64 GLB with a small three.js viewer: orbit, pan, zoom, fit to view and a ground grid. A drawing is embedded as SVG with pan, zoom and a layer list. A workbook becomes HTML tables, one tab per sheet, and a Word document becomes HTML text with its headings, lists, tables and pictures, with no script in the page at all. The page loads nothing from the network and runs no code from the source file.
The source: Encapsulated PostScript (.eps, .epsf, .epsi, .ps)
The artwork as vector paths, fills, strokes, dashes, clipping, text and embedded images, drawn by following the file’s PostScript, on its own page at its real size in millimetres. When the PostScript cannot be read, the preview picture the file embeds is shown and labelled as a preview. A .ps document opens at its first page.

▶Is my EPS file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read with the browser file API and converted in the same tab. Nothing is sent to a server unless you explicitly click Share, which is a separate, opt-in feature.
▶Will my colors and materials survive the HTML export?
HTML carries full color, which is at least what EPS stores, so the colors come across.
▶Will the HTML open at the right size?
The drawing keeps its true proportions and scale inside the page, but the page has no measuring or dimension tools. To measure, export DXF, DWG as well, or open the original in the viewer.
▶How large an EPS file can I convert?
Up to 200 MB, and the ceiling adapts to how much memory your device reports. The conversion runs on your own hardware, so a desktop with plenty of RAM will handle more than a phone.
